Natur im Focus 2012

Dear Friends
in the same Museum Mensch und Natur here in Munich:
http://www.musmn.de/start.htm ,
in addition to the exhibition Wildlife Photographer of the Years, is hosted also the exhibition Natur im Focus:
http://www.musmn.de/ausstellung/nif2012.htm .
The exhibition presents the best images of the competition between Bavarian boys and girls concerning the aspects of the nature. Let me say that I was surprised to observe the attention payed by these young peoples the nature and the quality of the images they produces. Only the images awarded with a prize were presented in the hall, but all the images of the competition, not less interesting, were presented to the public through video screens. Please, have a look to the following sequence of images and tell me your opinion. For comparison, I present you as last image of the sequence one from my personal archive.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year

Dear Friends
yesterday having time I visited the exhibition Wildlife Photographer of the Year:
http://www.musmn.de/ausstellung/wildlife2012.htm
at the Museum Mensch und natur here in Munich:
http://www.musmn.de/start.htm .
The exhibition presents the best images of the competition between masters of the wildlife photography. The general idea that I received from the exhibition is that the wildlife world is something of wonderful but fragile and undermined by the pressing human presence and activities. Have a look to the following images from the exhibition and please, let me know your opinion.

Musée de la Marine - Brest

Dear Friends
the whether of wind and rain in Brittany (FR) during my holidays of last year has pushed me to the visit of the Musée de la Marine in Brest. The Musée is located in the Brest Castle:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C3%A2teau_de_Brest , close to the Military Marine Academy and, although in restoration, it allows the visitor to have hints inside the difficult life of the people living and working on the sea, both in peace and in war. Impressive is a German submarine Seehund built in 1944 and used by the French Marine as S622 after the war and the collection of paintings of sheeps of the official Marine painters. I let to you to form your idea about the life in the sea on the basis of the following images. Any comment from your side is welcomed.

Yann Kersalé

Dear Friends
during my holidays in Brittany (FR) I had the opportunity to visit at the Fond Hélène & Édouard Leclerc in Landerneau the exhibition of Yann Kersalé. By arranging the projection of evoluating images on screens of unconventional shape (G03B21/60 - for those of you familiar with the patent classification) and by mixing sounds of drip water and colliding stones in dim light pavillions, Yann Kersalé surprises the visitor and projects him in new exciting dimensions of the knowledge. The images give you an idea of said dimensions, or if you want atmospheres, created by Yann Kersalé. More info about Yann Kersalé at: http://www.ykersale.com/index.php?rubrique=1 . Any comment from your side is welcomed.
