The two sides of the same theatrical medal

Dear Friends
I am grateful to our Etienne, who convinced me to visit the Prinzregententheater , one of the best here in Munich. In fact, separated by a mobile  Firewall , I appreciated the two living sides of the same theactrical medal. Recto (or Verso according to the conventions assumed): the action, in this case Tanz! (Franz) played by the Franui Musikbanda, a rare, fine mix of free arranged modern-classic music pieces alternated by comic East Tirolian monologues (see the first images). Verso (or Recto): the Etienne's kingdom, formed by the know-how powering the action (see the last iamges).

Strange Salade

Dear Friends
coming back hungry after the Tae Kwon Do training, what more rapid to prepare of a Salade. What I present you here is a strange one because of its components coming from different lands and seasons. Nobody in said lands and seasons would prepare a similar salade.
Enjoy
Giancarlo

Dispense generously Balsamic dressing over the slices without mixing. Add cut Sweet Oonion judiciously or generously according to the preference of each participant. Dispose over the slices leaf of  Wild Garlich (Allium ursinum) cut if necessary. Form a nest of Rote Bete sprossen over the Wild Garlic and accommodate inside a spoonful of Salat Mechouia. Dolmen on Mars

Dear Friends
before Le Telegramme of Brittany and further many other international magazines all over the world can publish articles and comments, I have the honour to inform you about the sensational discovery, made by the American Curiosity rover, of an ancient  Dolmen  not far from Mount Sharp in the Gale crater on Mars. Like the dolmens of Brittany, South Korea and of many other countries all over the Earth, it is formed by some vertically erected megalithic stones having a large, horizontal, flat slab stone covering a funerary chamber. This is the first time that the proof of the existence of an alien civilization on Mars, developed many Mio years ago when water formed a basin inside the crater, can be shown to the public. I hope that in few days, roaming around the dolmen, Curiosity will be able to show us the remains of the pre-historic Martian village or city whose inhabitants built the dolmen. Comments from your side are very welcomed.

Octapus in potatoes salad

Dear Friends
as M.Polo Chef, this evening let me present the tasty and rapid prepared Octapus in potatoes salad. Here is the recipe.

In a frying pan add olive oil. Let the olive oil fry at living fire. Cut small potatoes in round slices in a quantity sufficient for the participants. Add the round slices in the pan and let fry under a cover, mixing and turning every 3-4 minutes. Cut precooked Octopus tentacles in big chunks in a quantity sufficient for the participants.  After about 10 minutes, add in the pan: garlich, cashews, mustard seeds according to your preference. Mix and add the chunks of tentacles. Let cook for 10 minutes under the cover, mixing and turning every 3-4 minutes. Before to serve, add pepper and chili judiciously or generously according to your preference. Serve in adequate bowls.
Preparation time: about 20 min. Surprisingly, I propose not a white whine but rather an aged, red one, rich in aromas wine like a Sassicaia 2013-DOC-2013 .

Close to Saturn

Dear Friends
I have always had the dream to visit far away worlds, not only for knowing bearers of different cultures but also just for seeing the worlds as they are. Adobe Photoshop helps me a lot in this dream, this time by a transfer on a world close to Saturn. The imagined and imaged world (see the image) is some tenth Mio of km far from the planet and rotates it in an elliptical, highly inclined orbit. The orbital period and possible resonances with other Saturn worlds (see the image), at the moment, are unknown. The relative obscurity, also during the day, is a consequence of its about 1,5 x 10^9 km from the Sun, not visible, but illuminating the world surface from behind the point of view on the left. The bluish coloration in the image is due to the diffusion of solar light operated by a tenuous atmosphere having composition similar to that of our Earth. Inomogeneities in the dark sky close to the surface are tenouous Cirrus clouds in the atmosphere, The mountain at the horizon appears covered by rime ice of unknown composition, highly reflecting the Sun light. The dark surface betrays similarities with the Moon  regolith .Comments from your side are welcomed.

Hard Winter

Dear Friends
starting March I thought that the Winter was over and that the time of deep cold and sad days was terminated but it is not so. Global warming still does not get us the eternal springcan but reserves bad surprises (see the images) as I experimented in my last journey through the Alps, my short stay in Verona and my return back to Munich. Good consolation in the warm cave of the already visited Locandina Cappello (see this blog: Saint Giorgeto) in Verona with a pantagruelian Piatto della Tradizione Veronese based on Polenta married, among other, with Sopressa venetaMonte veronese  and Amarone (see the image).
