Butterlies

Dear Frinds
i walking on the bord of he sea at Dinard, my attention was attracted by a rose bush teeming with life. In looking more close and acurtely I realise that the movemnt of the bush was caused by a colony of butterflies also of  different specises. Surprisingly it was the only one bush so living I see during all my exursion. I propose the butterflies as center of interest for our M.Polo Club. Also with an inexpensive digital camera, as that I use, you can you too record superb butterflies images.

Journée de la Pêche - disappeared professions

Dear Friends
as last year ( see this blog: http://m-polo.blogspot.de/2012/08/disappeared-professions.html ) also this year on the Plage de l'Ecluse beach in front of Dinard senior fishermen presented the Journée de la Pêche a re-evocation of their fishing to cods on the Banks of Newfounfland. This year the re-evocation taken a longer time and much more information about this kind of fishing and the manual conditioning of the cods was offered to the public, which manifested serious interest.. From my side it was a unique occasion to interrogate some of them about the problems of atmospheric waming and fishing.In principle, they explained, for cod fishing the atmospheric warming is not a problem. On the contrary, it allows fishing in unexplored places no longer covered by ice. This permitted the capture of bigger cods than in the recent past. The real problem is that such bigger cods do not enter the automatic devices for their conditioning and their manual conditioning needs experienced fishermen that is not easy to find, expecially among the juniors.In any case they remain confident in the revival of the cod fishing. Dinard - itself

Dear friends
at the Tourist Center in Dinard, Dinard presents itself though the visions of artists fans of it. The town, born at the beginning of the last century as place of rest and escape for reach persons and families, preserves many villas, now awarded to the French national heritage, which delineate its unmistakable appearance. Jardins d'Expression

Dear Friends
the sommer is certainly the season of the flowers, a thema on which I come often and gladly. The reason this time was offered by the Jardins d'Expression, an exhibition in the park of the Castle of Pignerolle at Saint Barthelemy d'Anjou near Angers (FR). The town of Angers dedicates efforts and money for developing flowers and vegetal based productions. Goal of the exhibition is to attract the attention of the visitor to the vegetal kingdom which is normally ignored and I find that this goal, as you can se from the images, has been reached.

Quartiers d'été

Dear Friends
In Dinard, at the villa Roches Brunes, recently acquired by the Administration of the town and converted to exhibition center, the Cultural Institute Bernard Magrez presents pieces coming from its collection. Nice exhibition permitting to be faced with different aspects of the reality or the supposed reality. Of particular interest is an historied pneu, in my opinion a successful example of suppose reality. Please, have a look to the images and tell me your opinion.

Dinard, L'Amour Atomique

Dear Friends
I spent part of my holidays in Dinard (Brittany - FR). I found the cultural life of the town active as in the past, but with some remark. The exhibition Dinard, L'Amour Atomique let me a bit surprised. I expected the presentation of somhing linked to Dinard and the love, but really was the adjective "atomic" that pushed me to the visit. Surprisingly the artifacts exposed, although of good quality, concern mainly the thema of the generations of art in a littoral environment and some of them have with this theme nohing to do. In looking to the images you can form your own idea of the exhibition.
