Dear Friends
bonus in visiting of Mühldorf was its St. Nikolaus church . Massive above the houses in its Romanesque architecture , it encloses Baroque style jewels, including its orgel of which neither in the church nor on the web I found information. If you have any, please let me know.

Weingut I - Mühldorf
Dear Friends
intensive weekend this of 12-13 March dedicated to study and discovery. My project to write a paper about Weingut I , brought Etienne and me at Mühldorfer Hart. Here, in the forest was practically accomplished one of the two biggest German bunker of the WW II. Simple in its architecture, imposing for its dimensions: 400 m long, 80 m wide, 5 m beton thick, frightening in its ruin. The only one segment remained in place, betray a real devilish project that sucked energies and life of thousand of prisoners.

Hystorical Train
Dear Friends
as you know, I am passioantely in favour of the re-evocation of historical events (see on this blog for example: Paskue Veronexi - Parade , Paskue Veronexi - Battle , 06-018 Loko Ljubljana , 685.196 ) because they directly communicate, at least to me, forgotten memories, lost information and infuse a constructive curiosity about the past. I was thus delight last weekend in Verona, in waiting for my train to Munich, to see the arrival of our 685.196 heading the Hystorical Train . Superb re-evocation also this time, further enriched by uncommon time travellers as an Infantry combat team of the Austro Hungarian Army composed by Veronian recruits complete with drummer boy and matron nurse.
Any comment is welcomed.

Peter of Verona, Saint Giorgeto and the Thetonicis chevaliers
Dear Friends
being opened and observing many tourist entering, I entered me too in the Dominican church of Saint Peter Martyr of Verona and Saint Giorgeto (Saint George Minor) in Verona for a healty dive in the Middle Age. As Desirée explained me, it was the chapel of the Brandenburg chevaliers, mercenaries of Cangrande della Scala , lord of Verona. They lived in the Eagles Palace adjacent to the church. Devoted to saint George they decorated the chapel with frescoes representing their presence at the Nativity and Crucifixion and their insigns. They were not a branch of the Teutonic Order , i.e those defeated by Alexander Newsky at the Battle on the Ice on the Lake Peipus . They were Tyrolian chevaliers of Ludwig von Wittelsbach, earl of the Tyrol also having the title of Marquis of Brandenburg. The celebrated Chevaliers' inscription in the church is of the 24 April 1354 reads:

and establish a perpetual daily mass to be celebrated in the chapel in the honor of the Thetonicis chevaliers living and dead. Unwelcomed to the successors of Cangrande the frescoes were etched and covered by a layer of plaster. Being not sated of antiquities, I decided for a lunch at the nice Middle Age Locandina Cappello .
