Tübingen

Dear Friends
on Sunday 03/02/2013 took place the first excursion of our M.Polo Club. Aim of the excursion was the visit of the town of Tübingen, one of the most famous universiy town of Germany: http://www.tuebingen.de/ . I have to say that the student character of the town is appreciable but not very invading, and the town reserve to the visitors many architectural and artistics aspects to be discovered, for example the Dom, with an imposant modern organ, and other churches, the fortress Hohetübingen, the Burse and the Hölderlinturm. The general impression is that of a town, fortunately not affected by the bombing of the last WW II, which has preserved much of the its austere character of its past.
