Verona - Ristorante 12 Apostoli - Roman Temples

Dear Friends
in Verona, I was also aware from internet that the building hosting the renomated restaurant 12 Apostoli was built on the South side of the Roman Forum (today Piazza Erbe) of the town. Thus, I decided, also in this case,  to go to the 12 Apostoli for asking information about possible Roman antiquities in the caves of the restaurant. The polite and competent owner explained me that the building was actually built in the area of the Decumanus II. Citrato Ultrato of the town. The excavation of the State Archaeological Service is extended on an area larger that the excavated area under the restaurant Maffei, and that the excavation has revealed the presence of the basement, about 20 m. long, of a temple  of the Augustan Era dedicated to an unknown Roman divinity, the ruins of the Roman Curia, the local Senate, and the square basement, about 7 m of side, of a Middle Age house-tower. He showed me the reconstruction of the excavated area and at my query about whether the archaeological excavations will be prosecuted, he answered me that will be difficultt because of the possible opposition of the other owners of the building. In any case, the images give you an impression about the discoveries in the excavated area. Please, let me know your opinion.
Salutations
Giancarlo
