last Sathurday Jean-Luc and me, we met Richard Avedon at the Brandhorst Museum here in München (http://www.museum-brandhorst.de) through the exhibiion Richard Avedon. Wandbilder und Porträts. My personal impression, in looking to his images, is that the using of the black & whites technique helped him very much in charging them with the depressive and dramatic sense of our life, to be appreciated in looking to the other and to the world, he wanted to communicate us.
