yesterday24/01/2015 in Italy was the Remembrance Day of the Shoah. The Law 20 July 2000, N 211 http://www.camera.it/parlam/leggi/00211l.htm provides that in this day should take place initiatives, ceremonies and opportunuties of reflections about the Shoas http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holocaust and all what happend to the Jews and the Italians deported to the nazi death camps. In Verona the provision of the law has been respected by the presence in Piazza Brá http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piazza_Bra of a wagon used for deportation. Its closed mass, its rust colour and its solitude in a corner of the square clearly express the deep dismay, sadness and fear of the unknown proved by the deportees crammed into it.
