Canaletto - Vedutism - Photography

Dear friends
please avoid to mix or confuse the painter Fabio Canal ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabio_Canal ) or his son, the painter Giovanbattista Canal ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giovanni_Battista_Canal ), with the painter Bernardo Canal or his son the painter Giovanantonio Canal ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canaletto ) named Canaletto, further with the painter Bernardo Bellotto (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernardo_Bellotto) also named Canaletto, nephew of Giovanantonio, as I do in visiting Canaletto:
http://www.pinakothek.de/canaletto at the Alte Pinakothek: http://www.pinakothek.de/alte-pinakothek/
here in Munich. In fact, I was convinced to enter in the painting world of Giovanantonio, only entering the exhibition I learned the exhistence of a new painting world, that of Bernardo Bellotto - see the images. Although different in life and styles this last Bernardo and his predecessors can be associated together and with other in the solar and magic light of the Vedutism: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vedutismo, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veduta . If it is true that Vedutist painters used the Camera Obscura for their paintings, then, rightly, they were the predecessors of the photographers. In fact, these last only changed canvases and paintbrushes with photosensitive surfaces.
Salutations
Giancarlo
