Maks Fabiani in Lublana

Dear Friends
I gladly return back in Ljubljana or Lublana http://www.ljubljana.si/en/ because it is always able to add value and knowledge to its marked character of capital town of Slovenia . This time the opening of a new bridges and the adaptation of the central Slovenska Cesta as pedestrian island ideally introduce Maks Fabiani (1865 - 1962) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Fabiani Arhitekt Monarhije. Trends or evolutions in his works are rather difficult to catch because he was hardly affected by the events and by the desires of the various public and private clients. What I can say is that he let numerous traces of his versatile and polyvalent ingenuous which let him never alone in front of the challenges of architecture and urbanism as you can see from the images.
