lacking the usual summer visit to Brittany, thinking to China and extenuated by writing an article, yesterday I decided to have a moment of rest. But where, how ? Internet suggested relax you at the Botanic Garden http://www.botmuc.de/de/

and I gone. Quietly walking outside and inside the greenhouses, the mix of colours and shapes, caused me appeasement of my anxiety and an agreeably recover of peacefulness. In looking to the images you can try the same the experiment.

Water-lilies at Nymphenburg

the botanic of each line of plants is doubtless interesting, but apparently the botanic of the  water-lilies https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nymphaeaceae particularly attracted me and the public of the Botanic Garden. Perhaps because of their symbiosis with pure water, the  immobility of their floating leaves and the odd and vivid shapes of their flowers suggest tranquillity also in their overcrowded Victoria glasshouse http://www.botmuc.de/en/garden/glasshouse_complex.html. Contrary to what it is suggested to the visitors http://www.botmuc.de/en/audio_tour/200.html the climate inside the Victoria Glasshouse is not so bad.

micro-exhibition Forum Romanum

I have to admit that it was not easy for me to find the micro exhibition Im Zentrum der Macht  http://www.muenchen.de/veranstaltungen/event/18664.html inside the Glyptothek http://www.antike-am-koenigsplatz.mwn.de/en/glyptothek-munich.html in Munich. All we known that for Rome the Forum Romanum https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Forum represented the main place in which citizen met for deciding and to celebrate victories. Im Zentrum der Macht makes clear that through successive addition and restructuration of palaces it losts its original purpose of market, place where to meet, to drink and to decide, during the Roman Kingdom and the Republic, for assuming the function of place where to know the decisions of the power during the Roman Empire.
Any comment from your side is welcomed.

Etruscans in Munich

it was with pleasure that, in coming back to Munich from holidays, I met the Etruscans

Contrary to the conventional and deeply radicated view of Etruscan as a misterious civilization, the Etruscans https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etruscan_civilization developed a dynamic and open civilization, competitive with those of Italy, Greece and North Africa, able to assimilate and rearrange italic, oriental and hellenistic religious and cultural elements. The images, in my opinion, confirm this view. Note that their language is not always understandable in details, but not completely obscure.
