Drone ... kaputt !

today morning Etienne and me were on the geants, desert parkings of Airbus Defence & Space

for further testing of my drone http://m-polo.blogspot.de/2015/07/drone-to-catch-lichens-and-ants.html . The drone and its sub-systems worked perfectly and the on-board camera taken excellent images of the environment. But an unfortunate landing caused a shock that permanently blocked one of the motors and put a stop to the activities. Some teachings can be derived now in drone science:
- landing the drone as slowly as possible by smootly reduce the gas,
- buy drones provided with propellers protections.
The drone reparations will be started as soon as possible.
