Dom zu Eichstätt - 1

Dear Friends
for giving you an idea of which chest of richness is the gothic Eichstätt Dom I would have much to write. But, from where to start? But from the outside, obviously! Its main portal introduces its evocative statuary completed by its petrified gargoyles on the roof (see the images). Both these architectural elements introduce quietely inside its misterious mysticism which extracts the visitor from the real world and prepare him to the presence of God.
