Banwolseong

Dear Friends

not spectacular as Gyeongju or Cheomseongdae but vital for the survival of Silla was certainly Banwolseong mainly fortress rather than palace. Ignored by tourists and really not well preserved, it reveal to a keen eye the concern of king Pasa Isageum for safety. Powerful walls and large spaces for hosting a strong garrison these were the keys for a real protection.Comments are welcomed.
