it was because of the small distance in Erfurt between the Stadtmuseum and the Museum für Thuringer Volkskunde, that Jean-Luc proposed the visit of the lat one (http://www.volkskundemuseum-erfurt.de). The Museum proposes to the visitor special (http://www.volkskundemuseum-erfurt.de/ausstellung/index.htm ) and long duration exhibition, but I found of interest the collection of recent images dedicated to the Thuringian artisans, because Ethnology is not only a science dedicated to the knowledge of ritual and traditions of ancient and exotic peoples but also the science of the discovery of unknown aspects of the daily life around us.
