in arriving to Peking on 3 September 2014, for us a day as any other else, I remarked that many shops, restaurants and streets were closed. The guide explained that it was so already from some day in waiting for the military parade of 70th Anniversary of the victory on the Japaneses. Asked if it was possible to attend the parade, he replied that it was necessary to have a special invitation, but invited me to watch the parade by television in the evening. Curious to see what it looks like, I watched the television and the power and proud of the Chinese army emerged from the images. A political message to the world ? A symbol of peace and stability for the Chinese people ? All together and perhaps something more. Have a look to the images and form you too your own opinion.
