remarked for the first time on an the Italian locomotive 740-451 , and aboundantly commented by your feedbacks, I don't suspected that the braking device Westinghouse (see the pictures) reached such a big success. Simple and at the same time complex, compact and reliable, probably patented, produced in numerous, different versions, practically, it equipped all the modern German locomotives from the start of the last century. Any further comment is welcomed.
