the steam vehicle of the French engeener Cugnot fashinated me and stimulated my curiosity just from the beginning when I saw it. It was the first worthy representative of the category of the steam road vehicles . Many issues, many replies and new questions in seen it at the Schaudepot of the German Railway World: Why a boiler so advanced ? ... for having as much place as possible for goods and passengers and/or for having the incandescent boiler as far as possible from driver and passengers; Where was the fire ? ... surely at the bottom of the boiler; What the internal structure of the boiler ? What separated water and fire ? What the fuel ? Which stability ? What the reliability of the transmission mechanism ? What the emotions of the driver caused by said outo - moving vehicle ? We can only try to guess.
