Two-Organ Sunday

Dear Friends

two organ concert day, last Sunday 16/10/2016. The invitation of one of us prompted me to delete all my committments and to prepare my Zoom h2n for the events. At the first one, in the afternoon, in the Renaissance / Baroque decoration of the Jesuits' St. Michaelkirche here in Munich professor Thierry Escaich surprised the public with a great essay of his musical and manual dexterity (see the images), at the second one, in the evening, in the unadorned but grandiose decoration of the Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus  in Neuried , near Munich, professor Karl Maureen  delighted the public with a rare, superb interpretation. Unfortunately, in both cases,  I can provide you only with the images of both the concerts.

Photokina heritage

Dear Friends

offered for only 20 Eur, I let me go at the Photokina 2016 and bought a Smart Lens Set. Nice in its essential, distinguishing, coloured design and ingenious in the adhesive ring for mounting the Set lenses it promised to enhance the image capability of a smartphone . If the fisheye performance is deceiving, the performance of the tele is encouraging, although presenting a very slight vignetting at the image corners and the macro, although with a severe vignetting, provides good macro images at close distances and on longer distances it mimics and compensates the low performance of the fisheye (see the images).

Acquacoltura 2016 ?

Dear Friends
floating midway between Acquafarming and Aquaristics so I found myself in one of the stands of the  Bayerisches Land-Wirtschafts Fest 2016 . Not clearly advertised as an agricoltural development, this floating, probably common to other visitors, addressed an ecological way of increasing the limited food resources of the planet avoiding life depletion in seas and oceans due to over-fishing. Today fishing is regulated and limited practically everywhere in the world, this is true, and this way will help in preserving and improving the actual limitations notwithstanding the tremendous growth of human population from the actual 7.3 billion to probably 9-10 billion at the end of this century. Comments from your side are welcomed.

Oktoberfest 2016 & more

Dear Friends
my participation to the Oktoberfest in Munich this year had a special objective interest: similarities and differences between the Bayerisches Land-Wirtschaft Fest 2016 and the Fieragricola 2016 in Verona (IT). Both zootechnical fairs, both propose experimentally selected livestock, impressive agricoltural devices and genuine products to taste. The first one, in addition, proposes also a taste of the traditional agricoltural Bavarian world.
