seen if from far, I realised that Köln had a second Cathedral , but, as indulgently was explained to me, I was near the City Hall . Strange mix of civil elements disguised in religious ones (see the images). Like a Bell_tower the ancient part is enthroned over the modern, the statues on the facades are kings and emperors disguised in saints, and above all everywhere superb Gargoyles that have nothing to envy to those under this same link and those of the Presbyterian Aassembly in Belfast .
