You know that many times I visited with interest the harbour of Brest (see in this blog: Brest National Navy 1 , Brest National Navy 2 , Brest National Navy 3 , Guips Yard Brest , Brest National Navy 4 , Musee de la Marine - Brest ), but this time the I was a bit shocked. Masked in a forgotten corner of the harbour, deprived of her antennae, her brain, her heart, with a ragged skin was the anti-aircraft cruiser Colbert . One time pride of the French_Navy , now tattered wreck of a glorious past only good for demolition. Her vision (see the images) was not source of joy. Adieu Colbert.
