Lastovo - night sky brightness and our own Milky Way galaxy (2 of 2)

Dear Friends,

Here are some night sky photographs of the Milky Way from Lastovo.

You can view the milky grey band which starts from one horizon, arches overhead and reaches the other horizon 180 degrees away - something which you cannot do in most other European locations.

My colleagues Till Credner and Thomas Posch have managed to capture the Milky Way, the zodiacal light and the Gegenschein in their beautiful time lapse sequences, have a look here:
