Dear friends,
During the first week of September I had the opportunity to participate in an EU COST project (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) on the island of Lastovo in Croatia.
This required an overnight stay in Split where I had the opportunity to have a look around the city. The famous Diocletian palace is of great interest (separate post), however during the following morning I went around the areas surrounding the palace. I visited also the local fish market (unfortunately at closing time), and had a chance to visit an art exhibition in the local town hall.
