the Liarzou ar Palud or Palud Gardens , on the board of the Elorn river, represent the dream of the municipality of Landerneau to create an urban forest. But, moon, rains and winds, especially in winter, conspire in causing high tide coefficients and, consequently, salted sea water frequently (see in this blog landerneau-1 , landerneau-2 ) invades the terrains of the municipality and the Gardens preventing the growth of trees. However, many other vegetal species endure the salinity of the Gardens and contribute to generate a wonderful urban bio-diversity park (see the images), as advertised by the numerous panels along the Gardens and their ideal continuation on the boards of the channel and the river. Surprisingly, mushrooms too successfully sustain the salinity trial and manifest (see the images) their nice photogenic aspect.
