The three Doms of Caprino

Dear Friends

my genealogical researches  brougt me at Caprino Veronese ( "Cavrin"  in Veneto language), placed where the Amarone Land or Valpolicella, the Monte Baldo and the Garda Lake face themselves. In few time, my researches through the dusty registers of the Municipality House (Villa Carlotti ), under the supervision of two polite, competent employees, were completed and provided me a further occasion to test how lively and living is our Veneto (not Venetan, not Venetian, not dialect). Having so time for tourism, I looked around in search for wonders. Around the principal place face the Villa Carlotti, dom of splendid frescoes, for the delight of the guest, crowned families from Bavaria, Tuscany and Mantova; the Dom, temple of local, country Neoclassic and the renowned San Marco restaurant, dom of traditional country food and wine (see the images).
