Etno Shitamachi

Dear Friends

a bit difficult to find, I admit, small, ignored on the shores of the Shinobazu Pond, but not for this less interesting, the Etno Shitamachi Museum in Ueno has the special ability to re-create, at its first floor, in few square meters the precious, lost atmosphere of a whichever corner of a whichever Japanese town of at least one century ago (see the images). Too few visitors, unfortunately, for this real japanese Etno gem, especially for its frendly and kind personnel, which surprised for my visit, gladly given me a lot of information and the permission to use the images for this post.
