Ingolstadt Organs

Dear Friends
in Ingolstadt some remarkable organs are to see. Two are in the Liebfrauenkirche and another one in the Sankt-Moriz-Kirche. Their architecture and decoration is classical of the central European organs. The following images present the organs in their context. Unfortunately the registers composition of the organs and CDs with organ music played
on these organs were not available. Any comment from your side is welcomed.

Ingolstadt

Dear Friends
I thank our Jean-Luc for the organisation of the M.Polo excursion to Ingolstadt.
Although the images have the date of 01/01/2011, the excursion took place last
Sunday as announced.
Ingolstadt was in the recent past a military town and has preserved remarkable
monuments of military architecture:
- the Castle - hosting the Bayerische Armee Museum - presenting impressive col-
lections of Middle Age and modern weapons;
- the Tilly Reduit - hosting the Museum of the WW1 - presenting full scale wea-
pons of the WW1 together with images of the everyday life of soldiers.
During the excursion it was also possible to visit the Medizin u. Anatomie Museum
located in the historical ancient building of the Anatomie Institut. However, in this
museum it was not allowed to take images.
Unfortunately, I don't have remarked the presence of sundials.
Some images of the excursion is in the following. The full set of images is availa-
ble on request.
Any comment from your side is welcomed.
