Kirchner - Farbenmensch

Dear Friends
Kirchner Farbenmensch (http://kunstundfilm.de/2014/06/farbenmensch-kirchner) at the Pinakotheke der Moderne (http://www.pinakothek.de/pinakothek-der-moderne) here in Munich, last Sunday, pleasantly surprised Jean-Luc and me because of the sense of freedom, pleasure and peace the artist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernst_Ludwig_Kirchner) successfully arrived to transfuse in us, through his accurate choice of the subjects and selection of expressionist bright colours. In addition, through the sketches and through the X-ray, infra-red and ultraviolet images of the paintings it is possible also to figuring out different phases, change of minds and second thoughts of the Kirchners work.  The images document all that, and probably suggest much more. Please, let me have your feedback.
Salutations

Samoa in Munich

Dear Friends
probably everybody know the extension and composition of the English and French Colonial Empires, less people know that the German Colonial Empire extended to the Pacific Ocean by occupying part of the Samoan archipelago (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samoan_Islands). Although presenting aspects of the recent Samoan way of life, I think that the ethno exhibition: From Samoa with Love ?
at the Volkerkunde Museum in Munich:
actually point out, as you can see from the following images, the surprise and amzement of the Germans, and not only them, for this far and exotic world.

Richard Avedon in Munich

Dear Friends
last Sathurday Jean-Luc and me, we met Richard Avedon at the Brandhorst Museum here in München (http://www.museum-brandhorst.de) through the exhibiion Richard Avedon. Wandbilder und Porträts. My personal impression, in looking to his images, is that the using of the black & whites technique helped him very much in charging them with the depressive and dramatic sense of our life, to be appreciated in looking to the other and to the world, he wanted to communicate us. Please, have alook to the following images and tell me if you shared my opinion or not.
Thank you
Giancarlo

Ethology at Forstnrieder Park

Dear Friends
I hope not to disturb you if I come back to the Forstenrieder park near Munich and discussing more again about cameras (G03B17/00, G03B2217/00 for those familiar with the patent classification). The teaching acquired in Ornitology and Entomology, my Nikon Coolpix 6500 and a lttle luck provided me also the opportunity of dealing with Ethology in Forstenrieder Park.

The squirrel I captured in images behaved very suspiciously, it controlled carefully and frequently the environment looking for dangers and was always ready to jump away. Only the zoom solved the situation permitting me to capture the following images I propose you.
Have a nice Ethological weekend
Giancarlo
