and I am delight to see that Hauptbahnhof is not only considered as a place for departures and arrivals but also considered as a place where to meet art and culture. Exactly, I say art, because, in this case, the Erde im Visier's Earth satellite visions, through real and false colours, have nothing to envy to expressions of modern art.

Iceland - Fishing

Dear Friends
Iceland is in all itself a fishing country. Therefore, I was not surprised, near Ströndin, in looking to the coast perturbed by columnar basalts and animated by the flight of different birds nesting among them, to discover a small and nice fishing harbour. As can be seen, the fishing of the preceding night was good, many baskets were full of cods, and the fishermen were quietly preparing their fishing-vessels for the following night. However, the visit of the shipwreck of one of their vessels, not far from Ströndin, tell not for a quiet fisherman life, but, rather, for a dangerous one in the sees of Iceland.

Mushroom season - Iceland

although not far from the Polar Circle, in these days, in Iceland surprisingly is mushroom season. The compact and robust structures displayed by the Iceland mushrooms tell us, in my opinion, about the extraordinary force of our Nature to develop forms of life well adapted to the cold climates of the Polar lands. Iceland - Iceberg

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vatnaj%C3%B6kull of Iceland, creates the unique Jökulsárlón eco-system: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%B6kuls%C3%A1rl%C3%B3n   in which white, blue, gray and black coloured icebergs co-exist in armony with skies, mounts, birds, seals and whales. The shapes and the colours of the icebergs betray different conditions of ice formation. If the images give you the impression of quite of relatively small icebergs, please remember that actually only 10% of their bodies emerge from the waves.
