Alltag Leben im alten Egypten

Dear Friends
if you have time, I suggest to spend it for Pharao at the Lokschuppen in Rosenheim near Munich. Although Life in Ancient Egypt (Leben im Alten Ägypten) suggests to look at the objects that influenced the daytime life of the ancient Egyptians, I think that all in Pharao rotates around Hatshepsut, female Pharao and explorer of Punt, Akhenaten, religious reformer and architect of Amarna, and Ramesses II, conqueror and architect of Pi-Ramesses (see the images). In any case, I have to congratulate the organizers for the high cultural quality of Pharao.

Photovoltaic Sunflower

Dear Friends
let me say that I am fascinated by the flower power to show immediately a beauty that is difficult to translate in words (see, for example, the posts: Cyclamens-vs-Orchids, Late summer flowers, Apis mellifera Eichstatt, Singel 600-630, Chellah, Jardin Majorelle-1, Nuremberg ville-fleurie and many other on this blog).  Therefore, this morning, at the end of a relaxing walking, in the courtyard of the Deutsches Museum, here in Munich, I was delight to see how the flower power was conjugated with high technology in a photovoltaic sunflower by Smartflower. All reminds a sunflower (see the images), which was surely the inspiration for this contemporary artwork.

Back in Winter

Dear Friends
as you know, from 21st of March we are in Spring  and I am happy to show you its colours in a garden  in Verona. They appear a music composed of notes of violet, red, green, jellow and white (see the images). The fine weather, the luminous and warm sun let me think that the cold Winter of this and last year was finally over. But the reality in this case surpassed my fantasy. In the evening, back to Munich, I ran, unfortunately, in a snowstorm (see the images) omen of a new Winter. The interpretation ? The global warming obviously !
Comment from your side are welcomed.
