Mai Dult

Dear Friends
I followed with excitement, in the past days, the growing preparation of the Mai Dult on the Mariahilfplatz here in Munich.  It is an honour for me to have this crockery fear, the bigger in Europe, so close home and a pleasure to enjoi it as much as possible. Old, traditionalional and peaceful (see the images), it too marks the end of winter but in addition reflects well the soul of the Germans. A people not really inflexible and combative as sometimes we think.

Winter end

Dear Friends
Winter is at end also hier in Munich, although much later than in Malta and Sicily (see in this blog Colours from Sicily 1 , Colours from Sicily 2). Established by a week of sunny days, it surprisingly let in my garden a lot of magnificent white Inflorescences for the joy of eyes and whish for better days. Comments from your side are welcomed.

Eastern in Melilli

Dear Friends
Easter time during the 3rd TDK Camp . The religious conscience remains still high in Sicily and in Melilli as well. Here, it culminates in the spectacular Procession in which dead Jesus and the mother in Mourning leaves the church (see the images) for the town reminding the people of the holy night of 2018 years ago. Comments are welcomed.

Colours & peace from Sicily - 2

Dear Friends
it was not surprising, after that of the Abbaye of Daoulas, to find also here in the quiet Cappuccini Abbey the Botanical garden. If the first is dedicated to famous and curious worldwide vegetal essences, this second presents delicate Sicilian essences, among which the red Peperoncino plays the main role (see the images). Comments are welcomed.

3rd Taekwondo Winter Camp

Dear Friends
goal of my journey to Sicily and Malta was the 3rd Taekwondo (TKD) Winter Camp hosted in the Cappuccini's Abbey in Melilli. The mix of religious and martial atmospheres let me excitate and to do training and combat with committment under the supervision of eight TKD Italian and Korean masters. Teachings and suggestions I received a lot during the two camp days and me too I received a medal (the same that was generously offered by the organizers to each Camp participant).
