Jurassic Park

Dear Friends
I am happy to participate to the annual Conferences (IMC) of the International Meteor Organisation (IMO): http://www.imo.net/, in order to be acquainted with the last developments in the studies of the meteorites and for presenting the results of my studies. The venue of IMC 2014 was the Chalet La Fauconnière (http://www.tourisme-en-france.com/fr/poi/31966/la-fauconniere) near Giron (FR) (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giron) in the National Park of Haut-Jura (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parc_naturel_r%C3%A9gional_du_Haut-Jura) popularly known also as Jurassic Park (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jurassic_Park). Having not encountered dinosaurs, I can only provide you with images of other treasures of the Nature in Jurassic Park.

Alpen unter Druck

Dear Friends
with Alpen unter Druck. Erschließungsprojekte im Alpenraum (http://www.muenchen.de/veranstaltungen/event/11038.html) the Alpine Museum and the Deutscher Alpenverein (http://www.alpenverein.de/Kultur/Museum/) in Munich successfully indicate that Alps are a land of conquest for industrial and commercial projects at the expenses of the preservation and valorisation of the environment. New roads, water basins, cable-ways and seat-ways certainly raise the standard of life of the residents but push also toward over-tourism in Alps which is  deleterious for a quiet and sustainable enjoyment of the Nature.

Secret or not ?

Dear Friends
the news about a photo exhibition of Martin Schlüter about the BND (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bundesnachrichtendienst), i.e. the German Secret Service and its Zentrale (seat) in Pullach (http://www.pullach.de/) let me surprised and willing, as many other, to visit it. Goal of the exhibition was certainly not to show BND methods for acquiring sensitive information. But if the goal was to communicate which kind of life, bureaucratic and active, is living the people at the Zentrale, I can say that it was reached. Please, let me know your opinion.

Art Works

Dear Friends
bad whether in Munich means time to engage himself in the cultural life. One possibility, last Sunday was Art Works, Young Israeli Art in World Tour (http://artworks-munich.com/ )at the Praterinsel (http://www.praterinsel.org ). Many artists contributed to Art Works providing materialisations of their sensitivities and visions. But, let me say that, as you can see, many materialisations were of low quality, especially those belonging to the Modern and the Informal Art, except for a small minority. Please, have a look and tell me your opinion.
