Haedong Yungung

Dear Friends
I was particularly satisfact of Haedong Yungung, despite the presence of many tourists. I find its  location, in front of the sea, ideal for a full immersion into the Buddhism. A lot could be said, but mainly I appreciated the imperturbable demeanor of believers and officiants (see the images).

Gyeongju

Dear Friends 

경주 (Geongju) or 서라벌 (Seorabeol) attracted me as capital of the ancient 新羅(신라) Shilla kingdom. Many Shilla rulers found peace in reserved burial mounds. Some of them were excavated and 天馬塚  (heavenly horse tomb) the one open to the public reveals the accurate work of the archaeologists, the perfect mound adaptation for the public and the magnificent funerary equipmant of an unknown king, formed also by objects coming through the Silk Road. Comments are welcomed.

Korea flowers - 2

Dear Friends

not particularly cultivated or specifically attended, magnificent flowers I seen everywhere in my Korean journey. It was as they discretely accompanied me, proudly showing their delicate colours and fragile shapes (see the images), announcing further Korean wonders.

Seokguram

Dear Friends

immersed in a forest, that give the advantage to explore it, Seokguram welcomed me by a small amphytrion, not to be confused with the legendary Amphitryon. Not particularly perturbed by my presence, leaving me, he indicated the direction of the entrance. Small in apparence, Seokguram host in a soft atmosphere pervaded with aromas an enormous, meditative Buddha image of his acquired, interior, deep serenity.
