Leonardo Vorbild Natur

Dear Friends
last Sathurday I visited the announced exhibition: Leonardo da Vinci - Vorbild Natur - Zeichnungen und Modelle at the Deutsches Museum here in Munich:
http://www.deutsches-museum.de/en
In my opinion, the exhibition has many merits:
- it presents reproductions of Leonardo's technical drawings and clarifies that they should not be regarded as definitive projects but rather as intuitions of problem solutions although some device derived from said drawings is shown;
- it permits to collocate Leonardo in the Renaissance in relation with other brilliant minds as Brunelleschi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filippo_Brunelleschi), MIchelangelo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelangelo), Raffaello (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raphael), Dürer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albrecht_D%C3%BCrer), Copernicus
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolaus_Copernicus), Galilei (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo_Galilei) and the political and social events of the that period;
- it gives hints about the complicate personality of Leonardo in which co-existed talents of artist and engineer and set out that the presumed homosexuality of Leonardo has not been proved.
The images that follows provide you with an idea about Leonardo as suggested by the exhibition.

Any comment from your side is welcomed.
