The Gaul-Roman site of Aubigné-Racan

Dear Friends
last Friday having reach Vaas (Sarthe - FR) at about at 17:30 in the evening, and having more than one hour of light, me and Etienne decided to visit the ancient Gaul-Roman settlement of Aubigné-Racan, now site archaeological ofe Cherré, not far from Vaas (pron.: Vas):

The ruins of the structures (the Theatre, the Forum, the Temple II and the Baths), let to the vision by the archaeologists, attest the romanisation of the town, however how deep was the romanisation cannot be ascertained because other possible structures typical a Roman town (decumani, cardi and insulae) are not visible. More information about the Gaul-Roman culture under: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gallo-Roman_culture .
Salutations
Giancarlo
