If you are interested, like me, to the modern transportation systems, I suggest you to enjoy the Loco Festivals at the German Railway World in Nürnberg. German locomotives https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_locomotive_classification present there themselves in all their now frozen power and their explicit, complex and delicate technological details. They allow to appreciate the solutions adopted for overcoming technical problems but always generate, at least to me, further new issues.
