Leaving the hotel http://www.booking.com/hotel/cn/shanghai-central.de.html in the morning the town appeared clean with a good blue sky. Its character is modern, "westernized" from the centre up to the suburbs. Its numerous, vertiginous buildings does not generate depression. Many nonchalant peoples are on the streets but the town is not overcrowded. Its Huangpu https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huangpu_River and its roads are busy but not clogged. All suggest a good life in Shanghai - see the images.
