Lonely mountains

Dear Friends

have a look to the Mount Hood and Mount Jefferson images. I am sure that you too you recognize in them two Lonely Mountains, although not of the Middle-earth and not inhabited by Dwarves. Their steep profile push a bit far from the Lord of the Rings and Native Americans legends for revealing their intimate, unsafe nature of  Stratovolcanoes still ready for eruptions, but today, fortunately, quietly monitoring the nature all around and welcoming caravanes of tourists.
