Smó & Shinto

Dear Friends
I naively thought to a training break when I have seen two Smó students to collect the sand at the centre of the hall in a form of a mound. The surprise came later when one of the two shaped the mound as Volcan Fuji and posed on the top a white dressed Kami and, nearby, salt, Sake and fragrancies. From nothingness, a Shinto priest appeared, who asperged the four corner of the hall with salt and sake and agitated the fragrancies on the students and all the other convened. A Shinto purification ceremony took place. This is very clear.
Salutations
Giancarlo
