on 21/04/2013, thanks to the perfect organization by Jean-Luc, took place the announced M.Polo excursion to Osnabrück (DE) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osnabr%C3%BCck ).
By crossing of the Westfalian gate (Porta Westfalica), marked by the monument of Kaiser Wilhelm 1st
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porta_Westfalica ), after 6 hours of trip on the German high velocity train ICE, finally we reached the town. The long trip has let us few hours for the visit of the town and its monuments. In any case, the town in general, and the city in particular, appear nice and peaceful with many timbered houses. The images give you an idea of the town. Any comment from your side is welcomed.
