Vrata - Doors in Metelkova - Ljubljana

Dear Friends
the grouping at the district Metelkova (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metelkova ) in Ljubljana of three important museums:
- Slovenski Etnografski Musej (http://www.etno-muzej.si/)
- Narodni Musei Metelkova (http://www.nms.si/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=346&Itemid=58&lang=en);
- Museums of Contemporary Art (http://www.mg-lj.si/);
provides certainly the town with something of comparable to the Museums Island in Berlin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Museum_Island ) and the Kunstreal in Munich (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kunstareal ).

Probably because the doors presented were all closed, the Vrata - Doors (http://www.euromuse.net/en/exhibitions/exhibition/view-e/vrata-prostorski-in-simbolni-preho/ ) at the  Slovenki Etnografski Musej, rather than conceptualize a spatial and symbolic passageways of life, seems to me to conceptualize that any single door represents a physical, rigid  separation of various worlds: private / public, inside / outside, liberty / oppression. With the following few images, I hope to provide an idea of the possible conceptualizations of Vrata - Doors.
Salutations
Giancarlo
