Anphicionid ?

Dear Friends
our Gianni kept alive my Paleo-interest for Paleontology by showing me the last acquisition of its Paleo-collection  mainly dedicated to the Amphicyonids a specie of mammal , vertebrate  carnivores , also named bear-dogs, that lived practically all over the world in the period 46.2 - 1.8 Myr ago. This superb specimen, part of a jaw, arrived from Florida and announces a difficult to idemtify individual, surely adult and probably aged as clear by the remaining worn molar (see the images). I am happy that my Paleo-interest was once again satisfied and also happy to announce you that with this post the milestone of  600 M.Polo post has been reached.
Salutations
Giancarlo
