Venus, Jupiter and more

Dear Friends
I am grateful to Jean-Luc http://eurastro.blogspot.be/2015/06/venus-et-jupiter.html and Alexei https://canopus123.wordpress.com/2015/06/30/the-2015-jupiter-venus-encounter/
for having signalled the spectacular conjunction Venus - Jupiter visible in these days in our skies, at west, after sunset. So encouraged, me too with my Nikon Coolpix S9700, I captured the event (see the attached images). I was lucky because trees occupy my west horizon and the pointing of the camera was not always easy. The better results are at low magnifications. At high magnification, i.e. full optical and digital zooming, the images of the planets https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venus , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jupiter appear seriously degraded. I invite you too to observe and to take images of the event. Don't forget also to have a look to the present full Moon.
